Tecnalia is the largest center of applied research and technological development in Spain, and a benchmark in Europe. It is a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance and collaborates with companies and institutions to improve their competitiveness and people’s quality of life. The organization’s main scopes of action include smart manufacturing, digital transformation, energy transition, sustainable mobility, health and food, urban ecosystem, and circular economy. It is also the first private Spanish organization in contracting, participation, and leadership in the European Commission’s Horizon Europe program and is ranked fourth in European patent applications.

And for these reason in Pliades will lead activities related to data generation and harmonization and dealing with AI model development for sustainability and manufacturing operations. Tecnalia will lead tasks T3.3 dealing with data generation and harmonization, T4.6 dealing with green data disposal and T5.5 dealing with AI model development.
