The PATRIC centre was established based on a cooperation agreement signed at the end of 2018 by representatives of the Czech Technical University in Prague, the Azrieli College of Engineering in Jerusalem, and VDT Technology.
The centre adheres to the National research and innovation strategy for intelligent specialisation of the Czech Republic for the years 2021-2027. Following the successful concept of a Start-Up Nation, inspired by Israel, the focus areas include energy, engineering, telematics and electromobility, water management, telemedicine, and smart urban resilience.
A high degree of competence is offered in the application and use of new technologies such as digitisation, IoT, and AI.
PATRIC participates in the elaboration of user requirements in WP2, the technical activities of WP3-WP6, and also in WP7 and WP8.
