PLIADES Project Launch: Kick-off Meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece

In the heart of Thessaloniki, Greece, the PLIADES project embarked on its transformative journey. The kick-off meeting, held on January 17-18 at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), brought together 51 representatives from 27 project partners with diverse backgrounds for two days of intensive discussions and strategic planning.

The agenda for the meeting was meticulously crafted to ensure comprehensive coverage of key topics and objectives. The initial sessions featured introductory talks by each partner, providing insights into their respective institutions, activities, and their vital role within the PLIADES framework. Administration, coordination, and financial matters were also addressed. Clear communication channels and streamlined processes were established to facilitate seamless collaboration and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

The first day concluded with a captivating visit to the premises of the Robotics Lab of CERTH/ΙΤΙ, offering participants a firsthand glimpse into cutting-edge robotics and autonomous vehicle technologies.

Central to the kick-off meeting was the in-depth overview of the PLIADES project and its multifaceted activities. Additional meeting sessions focused on the overview of each Work Package (WP), outlining the actions and next steps.
